Advantages as a member of the DBF:
As a member of the Danish Brewers’ Guild, You get access to news, professional and social gatherings, brewery visits, subscriptions to Brauwelt Int. with a 50 % discount, job offers, the possibility to apply for travel scholarships, and occasionally travel for members. The yearly subscription is DKK 625, students are free members.
Requirements to become a member - one of these 3:
New members in the Guild get approved after the following criteria:
A) Persons with education as Diploma Master Brewer, Diploma Brewery Engineer, or Diplombrygger from the Scandinavian School of Brewing, Copenhagen University, or similar education.
B) Persons employed in the beverage industry or related industry, who after the assessment of the board are considered qualified for membership.
C) Brewing engineer students at Copenhagen University (KU Science) or Danish Technical University (DTU) registered for the M.Sc. specialization in Brewing Science and Technology.
A - class members are for life
B - class members hold their membership, but must leave if they change their profession
C - class members must become A-members one year after their graduation or leave
